David Gasser has been capturing his vision of the world since 1980. In the last 27 years, his travels have taken him all over the world. He has lived in the Southwest, the Midwest and the Northeast areas of the United States. Additionally, he has lived in Belgium, The Netherlands and Puerto Rico. Wherever he has been, the camera has been his constant companion. “I always have a camera and I am always looking at my surroundings to see something that deserves to be recorded.” In fact, a characteristic observation of his work is that he frequently captures views others may see hundreds of time without stopping to notice. Once captured however, the image takes on an abstract beauty, changing how we see in the future.

David prefers to create directly in the camera, without relying on comuter manipulation. His is an expanded vision of what photography is, including movement, extended exposure and color mixing. Capture capabilities include digital and a spectrum of film formats, from 35mm to large format.
